Kendall Qualls Chastises DFL’s Decision to Allow Felons and non-Citizens to Caucus
MINNEAPOLIS – Earlier this week, the Minnesota-DFL party issued a statement disregarding voter laws amidst a decision to invite felons and other non-citizens to participate in the caucus process. Republican gubernatorial candidate Kendall Qualls issued the following statement regarding the DFL’s complete lack of consideration to our state’s laws and processes.
“Not only have the Democrats allowed criminals to change our communities with record car jackings, robberies and shootings, but now they are making a mockery of our laws and election processes by inviting felons to stand in line and caucus alongside you and your family.
The Democrats are proudly talking about breaking election laws during the caucus process because they only care about staying in power regardless of how the outcome is achieved. I’m running for governor because I’m tired of the games where politicians pander to a select, but very loud few.”
