Kendall Qualls Statement on Biden’s Duluth Visit

MINNEAPOLIS – Today, President Biden will land in Duluth and campaign alongside Minnesota Governor Walz to discuss the effects his infrastructure package will have on the region. Republican gubernatorial candidate Kendall Qualls is calling for more leadership from Governor Walz.
“We’re living through a point in history when leadership matters. Leaders are present and vocal in times of need, but Minnesotans only seem to hear from Walz at calculated press events. That’s not the sign of a leader and I’m running for governor because a significant change needs to occur before the damage becomes permanent.
While two out of touch politicians do a photo-op to talk about an infrastructure bill that led to historic inflation, middle-class families are wondering where the relief is. Battling record inflation caused by unnecessary government spending at both the federal and state level, Minnesota families must now decide between which essentials to purchase at the store and which to leave behind. Crime has skyrocketed and people are battling government overreach at every turn.”
